Your time in Whitianga starts here with open-plan living; including separate dining area, full kitchen with bar stools – sit at the servery. The lounge area opens out onto a sundeck and lawn all with fabulous views.
Upstairs is your master double bedroom, which opens on to a second deck, bring your wine, bubbly or coffee upstairs and enjoy more fabulous views over Mercury Bay.
Also upstairs is a large second bedroom with two single beds. A spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity, along with a washing machine and clothes dryer.
Right across from Sanctuary Soleil Villa is Brophy’s Beach; swimming, sand and great walking.
250 metres up the beach are barbeque facilities for your use, along with a children’s playground, and in summer a coffee cart with some cabinet food.
When you need supplies, you’ll enjoy being just a 5-minute drive from the town centre which has great shopping, dress shops, furniture shops, artists, jewellers and artisans – bespoke gifts are easy to find. Numerous take-aways, restaurants, bars and cafes are all located in the main centre.
Also conveniently located near the township is a New World, Countdown Supermarket and The Warehouse.
Close to the shopping precinct in Marine Parade, is the historic Whitianga Museum. From there, across the road take a relaxing 5 minute ferry ride from the Wharf across to the heritage Ferry Landing where you can enjoy exploring the nearby magnificent beaches, restaurant & cafes (2).
Walk on (25 mins) to famous Shakespeare Point, learn the history of Mercury Bay and walk in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth.
